Day-wise Itinerary

1. Day 1 NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra (IXB) Airport – Darjeeling

   • (Distance: 75 km / Driving Time: 3 hrs / Altitude of Darjeeling: 2,050 m) On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
2. Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing

   • Early in the morning, around 4:00 AM, you will be driven to Tiger Hills (2,590 m, subject to permit & token availability) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). After breakfast, visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (ticket cost not included), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sundays), and a Tea Garden (outer view). Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.
3. Day 3 Darjeeling to Gangtok

   • (Distance: 110 km / Driving Time: 4.5 hrs / Altitude of Gangtok: 1,650 m) After breakfast, drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
4. Day 4 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

   • (Distance one way - Tsomgo Lake: 45 km / Driving Time: 3 hrs / Altitude of Tsomgo Lake: 3,780 m) (Distance one way - Baba Mandir from Tsomgo Lake: 16 km / Driving Time: 1 hr / Altitude of Baba Mandir: 4,000 m) After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok. (In case of landslides or any other reason if Tsomgo Lake is closed, an alternate sightseeing will be provided.)
5. Day 5 Gangtok Local Sightseeing

   • After breakfast, enjoy a full-day city tour covering Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (closed on Sundays), Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), Gangtok Ropeway Ride (ticket cost not included), Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery, and Bakthang Falls (maximum 6 hours). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
6. Day 6 Gangtok to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra (IXB) Airport

   • (Distance: 130 km / Driving Time: 5 hrs) After breakfast, transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
